Sharp eye makeup and dewy, radiant skin have always constituted Kiara Advani’s signature beauty look. This time, she coupled these with feathered brows, subtle mascara and a generous amount of highlighter—wearing a high-glam look that is ideal for after-hours and evening soirees. And with the festive season right around the corner, here’s exactly how to recreate it.

The base
Kiara’s makeup artist Lekha Gupta, who has long championed the statement dewy glow, prioritises skin prep over everything else. “Cleansing, toning and moisturising are a must,” she tells us. “Use a gua sha for a light and quick facial massage to reduce puffiness and improve blood circulation. Follow up with a serum or elixir; and then apply sunscreen. Finally, spritz a hydrating mist and allow it to absorb before starting on the base.”
Once that’s been ticked off, apply a smoothing primer, followed by a concealer in your under-eye area and where needed. Then, apply a liquid foundation for a second-skin finish. Pro tip: use a damp sponge for an airbrushed effect.

The eyes
Brows: Start off by using a brow pencil to outline your brows and a brow pomade to fill in any gaps. Then, create a fanned-out look using a spoolie before setting with an eyebrow gel.
Eyelids: First, use an eyeshadow primer. Then, apply concealer to create a uniform canvas for the eyeshadow. Sweep a gold eyeshadow on the inner corners of your lids and a shimmery bronze towards the outer corners; and blend well to soften any harsh lines. For the kohl-rimmed effect, delicately apply kajal along the upper eyelid. This will create a subtle enhancement for the eyes. Glide along the bottom lash line for definition, ensuring both meet at the edge to form a perfect wing. Curl the lashes and finish with waterproof mascara.

The lips
For the lips, begin with a moisturising lip balm for hydration. Then, line the lips with a cool-toned lip liner, followed by a creamy peach lipstick. Complete the look with a high-shine clear gloss.

The final touches
To sculpt and shape, use a cream contour along the high points of your face, specifically along the jawline, cheekbones and nose. For the cheeks, Lekha recommends using a cream blush that is layered with a similar-toned powder blush for a long-lasting finish. Then, sweep a powder highlighter along the cheeks, cupid’s bow and nose. Use a setting spray for extra dewiness and to have everything in place.
