And if you’re as big on eye makeup as us, you need to know about the wave of new, statement graphic eyeliner looks that are going around this year. There’s no time like the present to push your boundaries and have some fun, have a look below for a list of ideas you can start with.
1. Galaxy eyes
A graphic eyeliner look inspired by the galaxy sets the perfect tone for your makeup mood of the year. Apply teal eyeshadow till the middle of your crease and the end of your lower eyelash. Use purple eyeshadow from the middle to the outer corner of the crease and the inner corner of the eye. Add some glitter or shimmer eyeshadow for extra sparkle. Draw a winged liner and extend it towards the inner corner. Complete the look by drawing an eyeliner along your crease to the middle of your eye and you’re good to go.

In the mood for spring already? Channel that energy with this floral graphic eyeliner. Here’s how to achieve the look – extend your eyeliner outwards and draw it along your crease. Make sure to fill in your liner properly for an even finish. Take a fine brush and dot pink eyeliner in the shape of a flower and complete it with a white dot in the centre. Apply a hot pink eyeshadow on the lower lash line and a lengthening mascara to finish the look.

3. Ocean eyes
If staying near the sea or visiting beaches is on top of your 2024 resolution list, then this look will match the beachy vibe perfectly. The blue-on-blue eyeliner is an easy yet glamorous look. To get the look, start by applying a light purple eyeshadow on the inner corner, then with dark blue eyeliner draw a usual wing. Take your light blue eyeliner, start from the middle of your crease and draw a wing just above the darker wing. Extend it in a U-shape below the dark blue eyeliner. Draw a sharp eyeliner on the inner corner of your eyes and you’re all set.

4. Barbiecore eyeliner
Barbie took the world by storm in 2023, and since then, everything pink has been trending. Get this Barbiecore look by starting with a classic black winged liner. Now draw a hot pink eyeliner above the black one and the other pink liner parallel to it. Connect the two pink liners with a U-shaped liner at the outer corner of the eye. Apply a glitter pink eyeliner on top of the hot pink and get ready to shine.

5. Sunset glam
Sunset eyes seamlessly transit from day to night. To get the look, start by packing red, orange and yellow eyeshadows from the outer to the inner corner of the eyes, and blend them well to avoid patchy makeup. Now that you are done with your eyeshadow, it’s time to draw a border along it. With your black eyeliner, extend a wing from the outer corner and take it towards the inner corner.
